The Manor House has three beautifully decorated double bedrooms, each with their own unique style with an emphasis on comfort. Rental of Le Manoir includes exclusive use of the outdoor swimming pool, located in the nearby gardens.
The Garden Terrace
The elevated, south-facing slate terrace (15 by 2.5 metres) is accessed by French doors from The Great Room of Le Manoir. A table and chairs, sun umbrella, teak wood furniture make this southern exposed terrace a lovely extension to the house. A perfect spot for coffee in the morning, pastis in the late afternoon or al fresco dining in the warm evening.
The Entrance Hall
The walls, upholstered in deep red damask, evoke Paris of the 19th century, very Napoleon III. A large oak table, decorated with Chinese porcelains and flanked by two huge Chinese Foo Dogs, announces that this is not your everyday holiday rental. You will also find fine antiques, old paintings and prints, a wrought iron chandelier with candles and an 18th-century library with a large collection of coffee table books of châteaux, art, architecture and history.
The Great Room
The Great Room, flooded with sunlight by day, is made warm and cosy by the dramatic Gothic fireplace at night (firewood supplied). Down-filled sofas, antiques and beautiful lighting contribute to the warmth. Comprising living room and formal dining area, with a massive cherry wood table that can seat 10. Thick stone walls hung with tapestries and ancestral portraits and marble floors with beautiful Persian carpets, all evoke the romance of this ancient manor house.
The Country Kitchen
This large, charming kitchen, with double windows overlooking the walled garden, is equipped with all new appliances: full size refrigerator and freezer (with plenty of ice), dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, four burner stove (with both electric and gas) and an electric oven and rotisserie. The kitchen is supplied with herbs, spices, oils, vinegars and all the dry goods you will need. Glassware, dishes, cutlery, cookware, a CD/radio unit and a large collection of cookbooks covering the cuisines of the world are also supplied.
The Tapestry Bedroom
This bedroom with southern exposure overlooks the topiary courtyard and includes a new queen-sized bed dressed in toile de jouy. Decorated in blues and golds, this room is furnished in Gothic style with tapestries, floor to ceiling curtains, Persian rugs and antique furniture. Adjoining is the Turret Room, housing the Oratoire (private chapel) of the Manor. A main bathroom is shared with The Rose Bedroom. American queen mattress.
The Rose Bedroom
The walls are upholstered in a delightful rose and green floral fabric with coordinating curtains and bed head. The bed has a new American queen-sized mattress. This room is accessorized with Persian rugs, fine antiques, paintings, prints and mirrors. A large antique armoire and a selection of mystery books add to the comfort of the room. This beautiful bedroom has southern exposure with a captivating view of the fortified entrance and topiary garden. The main bathroom is shared with The Tapestry Bedroom.
The Plum Bedroom
This regal bedroom includes an antique walnut four-poster canopy bed draped in plum velvet with a custom mattress. Ample clothing storage is supplied by the Louis XV armoire. This bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a spacious built in shower with strong water pressure and plenty of sumptuous thick cotton towels.
The Chapel
Adjoining The Tapestry Bedroom is the Turret Room, which has been returned to its original function as the Oratoire (private chapel) of the Manor. The walls are deep midnight blue, stenciled in gold, with original Gothic carved stone window.
Swimming Pool
Set in a private walled garden, this new 10 by 5 metre sapphire blue pool is exclusively for renters of Le Manoir. Bordered by a spacious stone terrace, the pool area includes wooden pool furniture and a dining table and chairs sheltered with a sun umbrella. Night lighting makes the pool perfect for a midnight dip. Pool towels are included.
Main Bathroom
The Tapestry and Rose Bedrooms share a roomy bathroom with a window overlooking the back walled garden. Enjoy the sumptuous claw-footed soaking tub with a shower. There is unlimited hot water, a hair dryer and ample storage. Thick cotton towels are supplied.

The entertainment facilities include a CD and iPod-compatible stereo with a large collection of CDs, cable television, a DVD player and a wide variety of board games. Wifi internet is available at no extra charge. The library collection is comprised of an extensive collection of art and history books as well as novels.
