La Maison Louis Richard is a comfortably appointed home with one bedroom ensuite, large salon/library/music room with fireplace, separate dining room and a fully appointed kitchen. Two outdoor terraces are available for alfresco dining.

La Maison Louis Richard has both eastern & western exposures, ideal for sunrise and sunsets. A terrace on the west and lawn on the east, both for dining and sunbathing. This is a very spacious and luxurious home for 2 or 2 and a child. This self catering home is cool in summer and warm in winter with central heating and large 15th Century fireplace. Wood is included.

The Garden Terrace

The western exposed terrace, covered with potted flowers, roses and buddleia, overlooks the courtyard and Le Manoir, an ideal spot for cocktails at sunset. A table with umbrella and garden furniture make this a lovely outdoor room. Please note that rental of La Maison alone does not include use of the swimming pool.

The Salon

The large salon has an extensive library, CD collection and a baby grand piano. The enormous 15th century fireplace, overstuffed furniture and exquisite lighting make this room simply beautiful.

The Dining Room

The large dining room with it’s midnight blue taffeta curtains, antique furniture, Persian carpet and magnificent collection of art make this room ideal for a candle lit dinner. Entrance to the eastern garden from the dining room.

The Portrait Bedroom

The large en-suite bedroom with its deep tobacco leaf walls, eastern exposure and large collection of paintings create a beguiling décor. An extremely comfortable bed and quiet location make for restful sleep.

The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a large shower, hairdryer and towels.

The Country Kitchen

The large expertly appointed kitchen with its eastern window and door to the western terrace is supplied with a wide selection of cook books and all the tools a chef would need. Refrigerator & freezer, washer & dryer, dishwasher, hob and oven, microwave, toaster oven, kettle and coffee machine as well as spices, herbs, vinegars, oils and other sundries are all supplied.

The entertainment facilities include a CD and iPod-compatible stereo with a large collection of CDs, cable television, a DVD player and a wide variety of board games. Wifi internet is available at no extra charge. The library collection is comprised of an extensive collection of art and history books as well as novels.
